Equipping WF immediately after raiding, preventing retaliation

I would like to report about fixing the immediate use of White Flag after raiding someone that prevents the victim from retaliating the raider. It should not be used immediately after raiding. It would be good if it has 24 hour cooldown after raiding someone for justice especially if being trashed. Also the compound list has a bug where a player has a protection but no symbol of protection, which cannot be attacked.

Base improvised weapons unlock after upgraded versions

This is an oversight carried from TLS:DZ, but no reason we shouldn't seek to fix these in DZR. Certain improvised weapons have their upgraded crafts unlocked before the base version, this effectively renders the schematics available through the crafting bench useless since the base model only unlocks on the next bench level. War Hammer, base model unlocks at Weapons Bench 12, upgraded versions are available earlier at Weapons Bench 11: https://thelaststand.fandom.com/wiki/War_Hammer Bloodluster, base model unlocks at Weapons Bench 9, upgraded versions are available earlier at Weapons Bench 8: https://thelaststand.fandom.com/wiki/Bloodluster Their unlock conditions should be either swapped or set to the same (lower) level.

Possibly incorrect level cap for Hunter Compacts

In DZR, Hunter Compact long rifles are currently capped to a maximum level of 8. However, a level 11 schematic (high capacity scoped) exists which implies this may be the intended level cap of Hunter Compacts. When crafting this HC, it reverts back to level 8 on relog. The level cap for the HC may be incorrect as it leaves a considerable gap for players between level 8-12 until the next available long rifle (Sportshot Rifles, level 13+) drop unless they use the improvised long rifle (Van Buren, available at level 8). Most weapons also typically can be upgraded 5 levels from their base level. As HCs drop from level 5+, the current level cap only lets it be upgraded 3 levels. For reference, the first ever pistol given (Lawson .22) can be upgraded from level 1 to 5.

Items that are untradable

There are some items cannot be traded. But, if its like that in the og, no arguments. Hopefully it is negotiable to let some items be traded via voting poll to us players for more trading options.

Friend list allows you to attack your friend regardless of their level

If you add someone into your friend list, you can attack them regardless of the level gap as long as they aren't in protection or uses WF. This means a lvl 60 player can raid a lvl 3 player and vice versa if they add each other on friend list.

Substitution of higher level medical components missing

In TLS:DZ, you could substitute medical components to heal injuries with higher tier medical components (e.g. if you need a level 3 sling but don't have one, you can substitute it with a level 4 or 5 sling instead). In the current game, clicking the prompt to substitute the medical component leads to a blank screen even when you have eligible components of a higher tier.

Refined Treated Wood costs the same TW at 5 and 25 stacks

Whether crafting refined treated wood in bundles of 5 or 25, the treated wood cost is the same (50). Only the mineral oil cost increases from 1 to 5. Looking at the ratios, crafting a bundle of 25 treated wood should cost 250 treated wood, not 50.

Survivors can't move/remain stuck after hitting a mine

This first happened in Union Island, in the Monument Section, I was stepping on the mine to detonate it because my Engi skill isn't that high, so I let my Engi survivor step on it. After stepping on it, my Engi survivor, and a few others, are stuck lying down. This cause me to lose the whole UI run. And the second time this happened again during my Raider Compound Mission at Waterside. Once again it happened, causing me to forfeit the mission because of one stuck character. I'll not be touching Raider Compounds/Union Island Raid until it gets a fix.

Raid scumming

If you launch a pvp raid against, and lets say that raid goes bad. you can close the game and relaunch the same raid against the same player over and over until you win again. You have infinite tires until you win. There used to be counter measures to prevent this from happening: 1: Abandoned lockout. you would get a lockout for one hour, which would prevent you from earning any war points until the timer expires 2: Prevents retrying: Abandoning an attack a specific player's base would give you the message "You've recently abandoned an attack on this compound, try again later" This lockout lasted 12 hours before you could attack that person again, to prevent infinite retries.

Leader gets CRAZY high damage numbers that shouldn't exist when points are put into fighting skill.

When you put all your skill points into fighting on your leader, it increases the raw damage on the guns they use, resulting in some absolutely ridiculous numbers that shouldn't ever be possible to reach. fighting should ONLY increase hit chance, not raw damage. This needs fixed ASAP as some players are abusing this.

White Flag users still populate war targets list

Equipping the White Flag book should automatically prevent them from being attacked via compound raids. However, their names still appear on the war targets list. Only after attempting to attack them, a pop-up appears indicating they are under protection. WF users populating the war targets list take away other eligible compounds which should appear in the list instead.

Survivors stun-locked during PVP raids

When survivors are shot and hit during PVP raids, they will on occasion become completely stunned and unable to fire back. In the attached video, this happens to my raiding survivor in the third slot. As seen in the video, even healing them keeps them standing in place (upright and out of cover) which leaves them easy targets to kill. The issue is easily resolved by moving the survivor but that also potentially leads to a separate issue (not captured in this video) where the survivor cannot reload or shoot their gun until they are hit again. p.s. please ignore copyrighted music in the video lol

Protection gained from raiding

In the og you would get 2hrs protection if you only lost your flag but no survivors .. Around 4hrs half your survivors and around 8-12 hrs if you lost all 10 defenders and flag and some building etc .. Right now losing only flag gives 4hr protection and even losing 3-4 defenders sometimes even give 12hrs protection which is the max..this has happened to me... which leads in way less open targets without them really needing that protection since they've not being beaten ... (I'm not 100% on the exact numbers of how the max 8-12 hrs defence was given since i can't remember exactly im sure tho it wasn't as long as now.. feel free to comment if you remember better

"Maintenance" softlock during player raids

When attempting to raid a player and after deploying survivors, a pop-up may sometimes appear which says that missions are unavailable due to maintenance. When this pop-up appears, sometimes attempting to send in survivors again this issue goes away. However, if repeated attempts do not resolve this pop-up, all menu buttons disappear which softlocks you into the compound. The only fix for this is to close and restart the game.

Trades bug out and fail after going over some hidden inventory threshold

If my inventory gets more full than ~1100/2000 items anytime i attempt to trade for a new item it errors out, I think the game for some reason thinks my inventory is full even though it is nowhere near close to full. I can trade for stackable items I already have some of but nothing that takes up its own slot unless I recycle stuff to get under 1100. Started happening end of August with the update to fix peoples inventory going over the cap (which is when I had ~100 items deleted and went from 1400/2000 to 1300/2000, I assume related). Its not related to the free trade slots. I know a lot of other people have the same issue but with different numbers (e.g. 1500 is where someones stops working, 1700, etc)

Union Island runs don't persist on game closure

In TLS:DZ, closing your game mid-run doesn't abandon a Union Island run and instead allows you to continue your run at a later time (starting from the last completed stage). However in DZR, Union Island runs do not persist between sessions and is completely reset on game closure. This currently can be used to a player's advantage if they have a bad run and simply close their game to try again.

Terror Dome runs don't persist between sessions

In TLS:DZ, Terror Dome runs worked similarly to Union Island where your survivors would remain locked in to the activity until the run is completed. Closing the game allows players to pick up where they left off (from the last completed round). However, in DZR closing the game or being disconnected is considered as abandoning the run and your survivors are simply returned (at the cost of the spent ammo and fuel). Similarly to the reported issue with Union Island, this allows players to simply exit if they want to re-attempt a run for a higher score. Restoring functionality of this feature also has the added side effect of players not completely wasting their fuel for disconnecting mid-run.

The compound list is supposed to track the number of battles you have with a person, which it was "fixed" in an update but it still doenst work. Displays of the status of said person too doesn't work either, and when you interact with someone, they stay on your list forever.

Can't Fix Yet 47

Survivor requests only have 1 variation

The daily survivor request only comes in one type: kill infected. The only variance in this request is the number of infected killed and ONLY rewards XP. No other variations of this request exist (e.g. find x resource, earn x amount of XP etc), nor are the rewards different. In TLS:DZ, survivor requests sometimes rewarded other things such as fuel or increased morale.

Freeze state/performance stutter during Raider Compounds

The game reaches a complete freeze or dip in performance during the opening engagements of raider compounds. This doesn't happen consistently but most commonly happens when visual assets are spawned in (e.g. HERC soldiers) after gaining line of sight.

Please add the Blade Saw melee some noise

You can hear the chainsaw noise if equipping Blade Saw on a mission. But, it does not attract zombies, which is harder to draw a horde. I think its an advantage if it has noise added to its stats :D

Client side desync in recycler ETA

A change was previously pushed where the server side reduces the recycler's time taken by 75%. However, a change should now be long overdue the recycler's ETA on the client side to correctly reflect the actual time needed.

Dropoffs not providing bonus resources

In TLS:DZ all resource drop-offs would provide a randomized bonus amount of resources when collected after reaching full capacity. Fuel generators also extended this bonus to do so whenever you collect from it (regardless if full or not). Both features are currently missing from Dead Zone Revive.

Exit zones in Dock/Military Dock partially invisible unless at minimum zoom

In all variants of the Dock and Military Dock maps, the exit zones are not fully visible unless completely zoomed out. No effect on gameplay whatsoever, but this should be a fairly easy bug to fix. Also pretty sure this is an old bug from TLS:DZ.

Broken pathfinding in Small Shopping Strip (layout A)

Three loot containers (dead body, freezer and kitchen) in the small shopping strip map (cafeteria section, bottom right) have missing pathfinding, survivors cannot be directed to the vicinity or loot the containers directly. VISUAL BUG: Clipping issue regarding the exit zones.

In some zones, where there's a carpet or rug or something inside the exit zone, if you zoom it clips trough the exit zone. This can be easily be seen in the attached .gif file. It happens in high level Police Stations, and MAYBE (can't confirm since I don't really play in these zones) Parks and Residential Zones. In-game name: bidon or bdon, the "i" is with accent, game sometimes doesn't show it. Platform: Playing using the downloaded game, connected trough Steam.

The task window for bounty doesn't get resized when kills build up and text goes to new line.

Location: Any mission with daily bounty active. Condition: Inspect the task on the right side while killing zombies. Expected: The task window should resize with the text update of the bounty. Actual: The task window doesn't get resized, causing one of the bounty tasks to be unreadable.

The sound volume adjuster

When you adjust the volume, if you are on the lowest possible volume setting, things like zombie rush or zombie elite spawn do not play in the back ground. If you increase the sound to the next setting, it plays. Also, if you mute the sound completely and raise it the the lowest setting from mute, the game will play at max volume, even tho it is at the lowest setting. And lastly, this is more of a quality of life request, could we get lower sound settings? I find the lowest setting to be too loud. (Just a personal preference, completely non-important) Also, since videos can't be uploaded and .gif format don't have sound, here's a pic of a cat, since there's nothing that I can upload to help sadly.

The leave state of user(tick-cross) does not get updated when user goes to green line while leave window is open.

Location: Any mission with 1 user Action: Send user to green area from outside, and open the leave pop-up during movement. Expected: User's status goes to tick when went into the green zone. Actual: User's status stays cross. The opposite is also present(From inside to outside while leave pop-up is open).
