📢 DeadZone Revive – Temporary Transition Back to Private Beta
Hello everyone,
First, we want to thank every single one of you who has taken part in the Early Access Beta of DeadZone Revive.
Your support, feedback, and dedication have been instrumental in helping us push this revival forward.
Over the past weeks, our testing has revealed several major issues affecting both client and server performance.
These problems are significantly impacting gameplay quality and player retention, and we want to ensure DeadZone Revive reaches the standard you deserve.
After careful discussion, the leadership team has made the decision to transition DeadZone Revive from public beta back into a private beta phase.
This is not a shutdown, far from it. The game simply needs a little more time in the oven so we can stabilise the foundations and deliver the experience we’re aiming for.
⏳ Public Servers Remain Open Until Next Sunday
The current public servers will stay online until next Sunday, giving everyone time to finish ongoing sessions and enjoy the game before we move into the next development stage.
Once the public phase closes, players who wish to continue helping shape DeadZone Revive can apply for private beta access through a support ticket.
🔧 What We’ll Be Focusing On
During this temporary step back, we will be working on several key areas:
- 🐛 Fixing major bugs and client/server stability issues
- ⚙️ Improving core infrastructure and development workflow
- 🖥️ Preparing server upgrades for better long‑term performance
- 🛡️ Strengthening moderation tools and community management systems
- 🔧 Reorganising internal processes to support smoother updates
This period is about rebuilding the foundation so the game can grow without instability holding it back.
💬 A Personal Note
We want to be honest with you: seeing ongoing issues, conflicts, and instability around a project that has taken so much time and effort has been difficult for the team. Continuing to push forward while the base is shaky isn’t the right move, taking a temporary step back is.
This is not the end of DeadZone Revive.
This is a necessary pause to ensure the revival is strong, stable, and sustainable.
📅 Timeline
We estimate this refinement period will take up to one month.
It may be shorter, but we don’t want to promise a specific date until we have full clarity on the work required.
Throughout this time, we will keep you updated on progress and improvements.
❤️ Thank You
Thank you to everyone who has supported us, tested the game, reported bugs, donated, contributed ideas, or simply stayed with us throughout this journey.
Your involvement is the reason DeadZone Revive exists at all.
We’ll come back stronger, and with a better, more stable DeadZone for everyone.
