Windows launcher stuck on "WAITING FOR LOGIN...".

I downloaded the Windows version, opened the exe, and now I have the app on my taskbar ready to go. There's a problem when I open it, though. No matter how many times I "OPEN LOGIN AGAIN" to authenticate in my default web browser, it just never comes to pass. I authenticate to authorize launcher, the window closes and nothing happens on the application. I was hoping downloading a flash extention to play the falsh version on the website would work too, but it just never loads. Is there an issue somewhere? Is it something to do with the current status?
