Survivors trapped in 'returning' state

I sent my survivors out, and now they're all stuck in a state of eternal returning- They have no time limit to show when they'll return, it's been more than 20 minutes, and the speed up button doesn't do anything?

Nope, told me 20 minutes a half hour before I posted: I played something else for a bit, and my survivors are still stuck

Update: the fix I was offered in chat did not work Fix: Start a manual mission, leave, wait out the return timer, relog when the timer hits zero and the survivor is in the base. Didn't work for me, but it might for you.

Update 2: Compound raids have a 5 hour timer, regardless of the time the game says. If the return timer bugs after a compound raid, wait 5-6 hours and relog, if not fixed, try the above fix.

nevermind, i just logged on and they were back. I guess it reset at some point
