Material loss and upgrade bug

I found a problem regarding the weapons bench. I meet the requirements since I have a level 2 engineering bench but when I upgrade my level 3 weapons bench to level 4 I lose the required materials but the upgrade process doesn't occur. I thought I just missclicked so I upgraded it twice but it remained at level 3 without showing the upgrading progress bar. I have lost about 200 wood, metal, and cloth. I am unsure if this occurs with other buildings or if it occurs on different levels.

This may be the resultage of the duplication resource glitch. Sometimes after a mission (or a recycler load) the looted resources are added to your storages twice, but these extra resources are "phantom" and go away after an action that resyncs the displayed resources to the server's. In your case, this action was when you attempted to upgrade a building. It makes it looks like that your have more resources than you actually do and can make it seem that they're being tooked away when you try to userate them. But nothing's actually being tooken away, it's just the server correcting a displayment error This issue has been reported and is being worked on. But in the mean timely, you can force the storage resync by recycling an item in your inventory or opening/returning from the map view after a mission to ensure that your resources are displaying the correctful amountage
